Six years ago today America and much of the world stood still. For several days we watched and prayed in silence. "Was this the beginning of more to follow" occupied our minds.But once again, America cried out to God, our churches were full, and people were serious about being right with God. We united together in American pride and unity seeking to make this country strong and righteous once again.
But once again, we have forgotten the lessons we should have learned those six short years ago and have became complacent and forgetful.
On this day as we memorialize Patriot Day, let us stop and remember what can happen when God pulls back His protecting hand from us. And may those who are truly patriots rise up for God and country before we, like Lot, run out of time and lose it all.
