Today we had the opportunity to play and sing at the Middle Baptist Association’s Seniors Banquet. We sang two older hymns, In the Sweet By and By and How Great Thou Art, and was well received by the older saints here. The kids singing and playing their instruments is always a hit with the older generations and Sonya’s singing ability is always enjoyed by all.
We are settling in at the church, the Association and the community and seem to be bonding well. Friday night we will attend our fourth Screven County High School football game. Saturday our church is hosting a fall festival with lots of activities and plenty of food.
We are enjoying the new friendships we are making and the wonderful ministry opportunities here at McDonald Baptist Church and look forward to what God has in store.
